Ü proudly published her first children's book, "The Strong, The Fast, And The Tiny", awarded with a New York Statewide Community Grant administered by the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes in 2025.
The story is about the last three mice in a mouse colony facing a vicious cat. The three mice are named Strong, Fast, and Tiny. They decide to befriend the most powerful ally to help defend themselves. During the search, they learn that mice are very powerful and start to work together and make plans to take down the cat...
Ü adapted the story, translated into English, created the rhyme, and drew the illustrations for the book.
*Ü received another award, New York State Council on the Arts composition grant, to turn this book into an opera in 2026. The opera has been completed. There are several book sharing events and opera sneak peek events scheduled. (Tioga Hills Elementary in March, Johnson City High School's Cultural Night on April 1, Discovery Center's Read-a-thon, and Jewish Community Center's Literacy Day on May 20)
