Josiah Marshall (Age 17) is a student at Owego Free Academy. He is excited to be on stage as Tiny in The Strong, the Fast, and The Tiny. His past theater credits include performances in Newsies, Dogfight, High School Musical (Chad), and Billy Elliot ("Electricity"), as well as a memorable performance as Gavroche in Les Misérables. Josiah also gave a tear-jerking performance in Amahl and the Night Visitors, with Tri-Cities Opera.
Josiah performs at NYSSMA and All-County each year and is a member of the OFA Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. In addition to performing, he enjoys DJing school events, beatboxing, playing video games, skateboarding, and is currently learning to play the piano.
Josiah would like to thank his mom, dad, and siblings for their endless love and support. He would also like to thank his music teacher, Mrs. Burrell, for her encouragement and guidance. Finally, he would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ü Lee for seeing him perform as Billy Elliot and believing, in that very moment, that there was something special inside him that deserved to be shared with the world.
