Private Session

Ü offers personalized advice and creative suggestions for voice, piano, composition... and stage performance for performers to stand out. Ü has taught a wide range of students from 4 years old to 94 years old including amateurs to professionals driven by personal interests to career building...

Students of Ü have performed in Classical, Sacred, Jazz... to R&R concerts. Ü has taught diction of English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, and Hokkien and Ü has learned her students' mother tongues including Bengali, Spanish, Ukrainian, and more to help the students sing their repertoire effortlessly with dramatic intensity.

Ü is often spotted as a performance rescuer because of her extraordinary ability to perform with very short notice. She has stepped into productions as late as days to hours before the showtime. This is a skill that can be trained. The results could be reflected by all her students that had participated NYSSMA Classical division as a singer, pianist, or a violinist. All her students have scored 100% in these competitions.

Improvisation is something that can be guided as well. Improvisation comes from the data one has processed and from the courage to just let one's body go free. Improvisation is something that's beneficial for music and for life. It's a fun activity Ü enjoys doing and teaching!

Ü currently has a very selective studio. These sessions are individually scheduled and are only available from 1pm - 3pm on mostly Saturdays during the school year. The hours may vary in the summer.
